Senior Human Resources Generalist needed at a growing, stable mid-size manufacturing company in Suffolk County. You will be responsible for compensation, talent management, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and benefits.
Work on all aspects of employee recruitment and onboarding.
Support employees regarding benefits, assist with annual open enrollment process.
Review and analyze market data and make recommendations in alignment with compensation philosophy
Evaluate and monitor compensation including performance management program
Participate in employee evaluations and determinations about merit increases
Conduct investigations and manage employee relation issues
Keep current in employment law and HR trends
Ability to complete other projects and responsibilities as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or related, plus at least 5 or more years of Generalist experience, including at least two years at the Senior Generalist level. Should have working knowledge of current HR trends, best practices and related state and federal legal requirements/regulations. Be able to work both in a team, and independently. Should have strong consultative and relationship building skills. The client prefers someone with experience working in a mid-size company, where you would have HR responsibilities in an employee population of 250 or more people.
